Governmental Accounting • Public Financial Reporting • Municipal Capital Markets
My research examines how accounting standards, financial reporting, and institutional design influence municipal capital markets and public-sector decision making. My work combines archival empirical methods with lab-based experiments to study pensions, borrowing costs, financial note disclosures, school finance, and public- and nonprofit-sector accountability.
